How do I apply for a student loan?

Government-funded student loans are available to students through the province or territory in which they hold permanent residency. They are designed to help pay for your post-secondary education and associated costs.

Each province has its own application, and most can be found online. When you apply for provincial loans and grants, you are simultaneously assessed for federal funding. Please see Student Loans for more information on how to determine your province of residency as well as province-specific details on application, signing and disbursement processes.
