Closest match to your question:
Can I audit a class?
To audit a course is to take a course for information only. Auditors do not receive course credit and are expected to limit their participation in the class as deemed appropriate by the instructor. The tuition for audited courses is reduced to half the normal cost; non-instructional fees are not assessed. The grade on a transcript for an audited class will show as “AU.”
Provided there are open seats, students can register to audit a course by submitting a Course Audit Form during the audit registration period. Dates of the audit registration period can be found for each term in the University Calendar.
Please refer to the University Calendar for more information on auditing a course.
