Do you offer any programs or discounts for senior citizens?

The University of Alberta does not offer any special programs or discounts for senior citizens.

We encourage lifelong learning and invite applicants of all ages to apply to any of our degree programs, Open Studies courses, Faculty of Extension courses, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and any other program offerings.

When applying to a for-credit program, note that there is a special admission category for nonmatriculated applicants (AKA “mature” students) who do not meet the current admission criteria. For more for information see Nonmatriculated applicants

Any member of the public may audit a course, which allows you to participate in a course for a reduced tuition fee, without taking that course for credit. Learn more about auditing a course.
