What does hometown mean?

For the purposes of your application to the University of Alberta, your hometown is the city or town you were born in or grew up in, if different from your current mailing address. This information is used to track student mobility and will appear in the Convocation program when you graduate from your program. You will have the ability to report or change this information later on.
