Closest match to your question:
How many programs can I apply for?
New Students to the University of Alberta
New students can apply for up to two programs on their application. If you are not deemed eligible for your first-choice program, and you have listed a second-choice program on your application, you will then be assessed for your second-choice program immediately after the assessment has been completed regarding your first-choice.
As final Grade 12 grades become available, we will continue to your assess your application for your first-choice program – even if you have already accepted an offer to your second-choice program. In that case, you will have to decide which program (first-choice or second-choice) to accept/keep, so that the other spot can be released to another applicant.
Current and Former University of Alberta students
Current and former University of Alberta students are allowed one choice of program on their application. If you wish to be considered for more than one program, you must submit an application for each additional program.
