Closest match to your question:
How do I submit a new English Language Test Score as a Bridging Program student?
Because you are attending the University of Alberta as part of the Bridging Program (BP), you must complete EAP 140 and 145 in order to continue in your full-time academic degree program. BP students cannot submit a new IELTS, TOEFL or similarly recognized test score instead of completing EAP courses.
If you decide not to continue in EAP courses, you will be withdrawn from the Bridging Program. All of your registered courses will be dropped and your admission will be cancelled.
If you choose to submit a test result as proof of English Language Proficiency, you must reapply for admission to the University of Alberta in order for the test result to be considered. You will be required to meet all admission requirements for that admission term, and you will not be eligible for readmission to the Bridging Program.
Current or former BP students who choose to write an English language test are strongly encouraged to complete their test through the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension. Test results from other testing centres may be scrutinized for validity and may not be accepted for admission purposes.
If you are a Bridging Program student who is planning to take an English Language Proficiency test, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
