How do I correct my personal information on my application for admission?
Once you have started an application for admission, the only piece of personal information that you can change on your application is your email address; you will not able to change your name, birth date, or gender.
To change your email address, log back in to continue your saved application. Once logged in, enter your new email address and select “commit” to send a validation email to your new email address. You must validate your new email address before you can submit your application.
If you wish to change your other personal information on your application, and you have NOT yet submitted it, you have the following options:
- If you began the application through the ApplyAlberta system, you will need to contact the ApplyAlberta HelpDesk to change your information.
- If you did NOT go through ApplyAlberta, you may simply start a new application.
If you have already submitted your application (i.e. paid the application fee), you may be able to update your personal information via your university record. See Personal Information Changes for more information.
