Closest match to your question:

Should I accept my first admission offer or wait?

You can accept your offer to your second-choice program and pay the tuition deposit at that time; this will secure your place at the U of A. If you later receive an offer to your first-choice program, you can transfer your acceptance to that program without having to pay the tuition deposit again. (Doing so could also allow you to register in courses earlier.)

If you transfer your acceptance to a new program, you will then need to change your program in Bear Tracks. For more information, follow the steps on the Program Changes page.

For more information on offer acceptance, please visit Accept Your Offer

Please note: Accepting your offer does not guarantee admission. In order to finalize your admission, you will still need to meet any conditions stated in your offer letter, even after you have accepted your offer. The tuition deposit is non-refundable.
